Description: 

12061 a very small sample of ilmenite basalt with medium-grained ophitic to subophitic texture. It has a high percentage of pyroxene. Olivine occurs as cores to pyroxene phenocrysts (<1.8 mm). Groundmass includes laths of plagioclase (1 mm), pyroxene, ilmenite, tridymite, glass with minute anhedral ulvöspinel, troilite and metal.

The sample weighed 9.5 grams before analysis. It has not been dated.
