Description: 

This is a metamorphosed marl of the Central Alps. It has a very complex mineralogy. The section is cut perpendicular to folation and parallel to lineation. Porphyroblasts are: chloritoid-garnet-staurolite-chlorite-biotite and zoisite. The micaceous matrix contains quartz, feldspar, white mica, chlorite and opaques.
