Description: 

This sample can be clasified using the Dunham/Folk Classification: Grains 75%, micrite 10%, spar 15%. Some ooids, peloids and some oncoid/pesoids. Classification: Oopelsparite / wackestone.  Grains suggest shallow marine to tidal setting. Evidence of some drusy spar but most importantly evidence of pendant and meniscus cements around the allochems. Depositional setting in the vadose zone — peritidal carbonate.
