Description: 

71525 is an olivine-microporphyritic ilmenite basalt. It has small olivine and elongate ilmenite phenocrysts (rotation 1) set in a variolitic to granular groundmass of pyroxene (rotation 2), plagioclase and ilmenite. Armalcolite is mantled by ilmenite. Pyroxene is chemically zoned.

The sample weighed 3.9 grams before analysis and has not been dated.
